CAPITOL - AN OVERVIEW

Twelve presidents have lain in state within the Rotunda for public viewing, most recently George H. W. Bush. The tomb designed for Washington saved the catafalque capitol and that is accustomed to help coffins lying in state or honor within the Capitol.
